Putting one book on the shelf, grabbing another.

So, what is this whole 'epic adventure' about? Well, as most of you know, Kara is an Occupational Therapist (OT). There is an option in OT that allows people to travel to fill in jobs that are in high demand or are harder to fill. Most of these assignments last for 13 weeks. So our plan is to take four or five 13-week assignments over the next year and a half our so. Why? Well, we love to travel, and would like to experience other places and people before we start having cubs, they pay well, and it's great experience. We will be starting our travel experiences in northern Idaho, and won't find out where our next assignment is until this one is over. This has been thought about and prayed about a great deal, as we know it is a huge decision. But things have really been working in a way that we know this is the right thing to do at the moment.

The 4 main things that we were worried about were:
-Finding a place to stay in ID
-Selling our car
-Finding a decent van to buy (instead of constantly renting U Hauls)
-& Finding a renter for our place

We have been blessed like crazy, and all of these worries have been taken care of. :)

Now it's just a matter of making sure everything is packed up and ready to go! We plan on leaving ND on Tuesday but won't be around over this weekend.......so the next few days will hopefully end up being very productive!!

We will be posting more as we go.....so stay tuned! :)

Here's a pic of our dining room/bedroom from the last few nights. The carpet in our bedroom was cleaned and our bed is in storage, so this is our makeshift bedroom. It's a lot more airy out here so I think we've actually gotten better sleep lately! :)
